Marie is an experienced CEO of Volunteer Centre Dorset, with 24 years of VCS experience in Dorset, has a strong and broad understanding of the VCS in Dorset, and that of the national picture, having been involved in national research and programmes over the years. Marie’s passion lies in making sure that strategic developments make a positive meaningful difference to people in Dorset. Marie champions those voices less heard in the community, responding to the needs of the sector, she is proactive and responsive and believes that working truly collaboratively gains the best outcomes for people in Dorset. Currently Marie Chairs the Community Engagement (CEG) Subgroup of the Adult Safeguarding Board and the Learning Disability Network Forum for Dorset (Dorset Council area).
