Dorset Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly (VCSA) Strengthens Leadership with Two Key Appointments

The Dorset Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly (VCSA) is proud to announce the appointment of Paula Bennetts as Programme Director and Adam Martel as Business and Community Officer, marking an exciting new chapter for the organisation.

Paula Bennetts brings nearly a decade of leadership experience from her role as Operations Manager at Dorset Community Action. Known for her expertise in safeguarding, lecturing, inequalities, human rights and workshop facilitation, Paula has led impactful programmes addressing health inequalities and fostering community growth. Paula is passionate about building trusting partnerships and driving meaningful change across Dorset’s voluntary and community sector (VCS).

Joining her is Adam Martel, the VCSA’s new Business and Community Officer, with over 20 years of experience in business operations, communications, and project management. Adam is celebrated for his customer-focused approach and keen eye for detail, ensuring projects are executed to the highest standards. His enthusiasm for empowering communities and fostering collaboration aligns with the VCSA’s mission to strengthen the VCS and its connections within the wider Integrated Care System (ICS) in Dorset.

These appointments underscore the VCSA’s commitment to supporting voluntary and community organisations through effective representation, communication, engagement, and collaboration.
