Paula Bennetts is a dynamic and inspiring professional dedicated to empowering communities and driving meaningful change. As Operations Manager at Dorset Community Action, she spent nearly a decade leading with vision and purpose, delivering impactful programmes that address health inequalities and support community growth. Known for her engaging training sessions and innovative research, Paula has a unique ability to bring people together, spark ideas, and turn challenges into opportunities. With expertise in safeguarding, lecturing, inequalities, human rights and workshop facilitation. With a BA (Hons) in Health & Community Research Studies and a range of qualifications in training, leadership and advocacy, Paula is passionate about creating a brighter, fairer future for all.

Adam Martel – Business and Communications Officer

Adam Martel is the dynamic Business & Communication Officer for Dorset VSCA (Voluntary and Community Sector Assembly). With two decades of experience under his belt, Adam excels in business operations, communications, and project management. His keen eye for detail and customer-focused approach ensure that every project runs smoothly and meets the highest standards. Adam is enthusiastic about empowering the community and leverages his extensive skill set to foster collaboration and innovation. Always on the lookout for new challenges, Adam thrives in challenging environments and is committed to making a positive impact in the voluntary and community sector (VCS).
